Role Overview: Gladiator’s Exploration Manager will play a key role in developing, implementing, and overseeing exploration and resource delineation for the Whitehorse Copper Project. The Exploration Manager will lead efforts to manage and guide exploration within a dynamic team environment. As a senior member of management, you will be required to have deep knowledge of geology in base and precious metals and be seeking a position where you are responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily operations and deputizing for the Vice President - Exploration.

Gladiator has a planned exploration budget in the vicinity of $15 million for 2026 and sees this role as part of its succession planning for 2027, with a focus on fostering a team first culture and collaborating with technical teams, consultants, rights holders, communities, and regulators as required, including co-responsibility for training, monitoring, reporting, and communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide decisive leadership to a high-performing exploration team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and technical excellence
  • Lead resource discovery and delineation across the highly prospective and historically proven mineral district surrounding the City of Whitehorse
  • This role will be hands-on across all facets of exploration and development, with responsibilities including:
    • Aid planning and execution of geological, geochemical, and geophysical programs across the claims, incorporating environmental restrictions, heritage surveys, and drill permitting requirements
    • Maintaining a robust target pipeline, prioritizing prospects and guiding exploration decisions based on technical outcomes and strategic value
    • Ensuring efficient use of resources, including staffing and contractors
    • Support and maintain all permitting and regulatory requirements including compliance with the Quartz Mining Act, ensuring that field activities adhere to all permit scopes, conditions and reporting timelines.
    • Support the Qualified Person (QP) in compliance and reporting, including TSX, QAQC, technical updates and statutory obligations
    • Contributing to continuous improvement through ongoing review of procedures and feedback mechanisms.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree or diploma in Geology; eligible for (or registered as) a Professional Geoscientist in Canada
  • Experience within similar roles with at least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably across varying mineralized deposit types with a focus on base and precious metals, with technical proficiency in exploration geology and target generation
  • High proficiency in exploration practices and implementation
  • A proactive and responsible approach to safety and people management
  • Proficiency in Micromine (or similar 3D modeling software), ArcGIS or QGis or similar, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent analytical, communication, budgeting and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in both office and remote field settings, including during winter conditions.
  • Capable of maintaining compliance documentation and communicating field-level updates to regulators and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with territorial and municipal permitting frameworks (YESAB, Quartz Mining Act, Yukon Water Board), would be viewed favorably
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license with a decent driving record for insurance purposes.
  • Applicants must either be Canadian citizens or possess unrestricted rights to work in Canada.
